Middleton-Star Firefighters Local 4626 proudly represents the 35 suppression personnel dedicated to serving the Middleton and Star Joint Fire Districts. Our union is committed to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and professional development of our members while advocating for proper staffing and equipment to serve the community effectively and efficiently.


More than just a collective bargaining unit, we are a family. We prioritize the well-being of our members and their families, advocating for fair compensation, benefits, and working conditions. Understanding the challenges and risks our members face daily, we are dedicated to providing the support they need to perform their duties effectively and safely.


The members of Local 4626 are highly trained professionals who respond to a wide range of emergencies, including fires, vehicle accidents, and emergency medical calls. Whether it's providing life-saving medical assistance, rescuing individuals from perilous situations, or combating hazardous fires, our members are dedicated to serving their communities 24/7, 365 days a year.

Benevolent Fund

The Local 4626 Benevolent Fund is a 501(c) non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community in times of need. Established by members of Local 4626, our organization is driven by a deep sense of compassion and solidarity. We believe in supporting our neighbors through difficult times, particularly when they have experienced the devastating impact of a house fire.

 Through the generous contributions of our members, partners, and community supporters, we are able to offer timely financial assistance to help individuals and families get back on their feet. Whether it's covering essential living expenses, temporary housing, or replacing belongings lost in the fire, our goal is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in crisis.

At the heart of our mission is the commitment to provide immediate assistance to individuals and families affected by house fires. We understand the profound emotional and financial toll that such tragedies can inflict, and we strive to offer relief and support during these challenging moments. Additionally, the Local 4626 Benevolent Fund extends its support to the broader community by providing monetary donations as deemed necessary.
